mwawHeidrun (dal norreno mwbaHeiðrún) è la mwbqcapra che mangia le foglie dell'albero Læraðr (a volte identificato con mwbwYggdrasill), e dalle cui mammelle viene prodotto l'mwcaidromele.

mwcgEtimologicamente è composto da due termini: il primo potrebbe essere mwcwheið ("cielo chiaro", "cielo brillante"), mwdaheiðr ("brillante", "chiaro") o anche mwdqheiðr (identico al precedente, ma col significato di "pagano"); il secondo potrebbe essere mwdgrún ("segreto", da cui anche mwdwRunar, mweaSigrun e mweqGudrun), mwegrúnar ("storia segreta") o mwewrúna ("amico intimo").
